Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) is an educational institution wholly owned by Yayasan Pahang, comprising two key entities: Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) and UCYP University.
Originally known as Institut Kemajuan Ikhtisas Pahang’s 5th branch (IKIP 5), KYP was established on 31 December 1998 and is located in Taman Pertanian, Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang.
KYP offers a wide range of diploma programs developed in-house, alongside diploma and degree programs in collaboration with reputable local and international universities. This initiative aligns with Yayasan Pahang’s vision of fostering a world-class knowledge society and the objectives outlined in Malaysia’s Education Blueprint 2015–2025.
All KYP programs are fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and recognized by both the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and the Public Service Department. KYP’s commitment to excellence has earned it competitive IPT status under the MyQuest 2022 assessment, further cementing its reputation as a premier institution.
