Nakawa Vocational Training College (NVTC), established in 1971, is a public institution located in Kampala and operates under the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) through the BTVET Department. NVTC is dedicated to providing vocational training through its eight specialized departments: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Machining and Fitting, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Woodworking, Plumbing and Sheet Metal, Welding and Fabrication, as well as Building and Construction. These departments are integral to the delivery of hands-on, industry-focused training programs.
