Launched in January 2020, Sandton Group of Schools Boarding offers students a unique opportunity to engage more deeply with the core values of the school. The primary aim is to help each learner become a self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive, and well-rounded individual with an independent mindset.
Boarding life at Sandton integrates a balanced program of rigorous academics, sports, and cultural activities, providing students with a personal and diverse environment where they can discover and develop their talents. This holistic approach allows for the growth of both intellectual and personal abilities.
The boarding facilities feature two separate wings, one for boys and one for girls, with room assignments based on grade levels. Girls’ rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, while boys share communal facilities. Modern, shared common rooms are available for both boys and girls, supervised for safety and comfort.
These common areas include a recreation room with a pool table, foosball, PlayStation, flat-screen TV, and age-appropriate board games. There is also a dedicated TV room and study area where students can focus on their homework during study times.
